The Project

'Shire Street is your point of contact with the marriage of traditional Yorkshire cuisine and modern street food.

A website designed with a mobile-first approach, 'Shire Street stands out for its original aesthetic and straightforward user experience.

How it came to be

My curiosity about local cuisine inspired me to imagine a fictional food truck that would embrace old and new. This meant both leaning on street food and catering to the needs of modern cuisine.

Purpose and Aims

Customers and business partners would approach the website as a quick way to familiarise themselves with the company and to contact it for information.

Assuming the company to be new in its field, the website would serve as a business card, ideal to link to a QR code. With that in mind, I designed its mobile outlook on Figma.

As it stands, the product is intended as a design proposal, scalable to business needs (e.g. menu size, a detailed 'about' section).
